Larimer County Human Services Social Casework Manager: Duties included supervision, training, and evaluation of
child protection intake, ongoing, and diversion caseworkers. Monitored workers effectiveness in working with high
conflict families to assure compliance with federal guidelines regarding the safety of the child, best interest of the child,
and maintenance of the family. Consulted with workers regarding recommendations being made to the court relative to
child placement, child custody, and parenting plans.
Denver Department of Social Services Social Caseworker III: Duties included providing counseling and intervention
services to families where youth were in conflict with their immediate family and the community. Made assessments
regarding child safety and designed treatment plans that addressed appropriate role responsibilities within the family.
Took legal action when necessary, filing Dependency and Neglect petitions and made recommendations to the court
regarding custody of the child/children.

Adams County Department of Social Services Social Caseworker III: Duties included providing court intake services
for the adolescent unit of the Division of Child and Family Services. Completed child protection investigations and
made recommendations to the court regarding custody and out of home placement. Developed the initial treatment
plan and parenting time schedules.
I worked for the aforementioned mentioned human services agencies for over 25 years. During that period of time I
received numerous trainings in child development assessment, parent/child interaction, substance abuse, enhanced
interviewing techniques, mediation and consensus building, and cultural diversity. I have been qualified as an expert
witness in Adams, Denver, and Larimer county family courts.
